At the monent I am looking into the works by Cornelia Parker. "Burnt Shed" where she burnt a shed, kept what's left behind, and hung them in the shape of the shed. I think this really relates to my work how she focuses on whats left behind and the loss of structure.
I'm experimenting with paper and colour and different materiels I could use to recreate this. Making small installations before making the final piece.
Here's some of the works by Parker that I'm interested in, and I find relate to my project.

Prints of What's Left Behind

Movement and Motion. I'm interested in the movement of fire.
THE DESTRUSTION OF FIRE AND WHATS LEFT BEHIND!
Whats left behind after the fire?
Take any stucture for example, a cube or circular form, after they have been burnt, they transform into the same form, a pile of ash.
At the moment, I've made the outiline of a house out of matches and lighting it on fire and recording it by video or photographs. This is to illustrate the destruction of forms.
Pompeii, known for the forms that were left behind after the volcano.
